- Dr. Tejas Shah has vast experience in the field of Pediatric Intensive Care over last 11 years, having worked at Prestigious institutes like Evelina Children’s Hospital (London), Birmingham Children’s Hospital (Birmingham, UK), Queen’s Medical Centre (Nottingham, UK) and University Hospital of Wales (Cardiff, UK).
- He has gained tremendous hands-on experience for transport of sick children, having worked with South Thames Retrieval Service and Embrace Transport service, UK.
- Following his relocation, he has worked as Consultant Pediatric Intensivist at Apollo Hospitals, CIMS Hospital and Zydus Hospital, Ahmedabad.
- Since 2012, he has been instrumental in starting and developing stand-alone Cyril Children Hospital with team of qualified Intensivists, Neonatologists and Pediatricians at Naranpura, Ahmedabad.
- He is one of the senior Pediatric Intensivist of the Ahmedabad city.
- He has given lectures, case-presentations and participated in various national and regional conferences as invited faculty in the field of Pediatric Intensive Care.
- Dr. Tejas Shah is one of the faculty for Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation workshop being held annually at Ahmedabad (successfully completed 2 annual workshops)
- Dr Tejas Shah is a director at Cyril Children’s Hospital, Naranpura and Orange Children’s Hospital, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad.
- Dr Tejas Shah is deeply interested in meditation and gets regularly involved in social causes for the underprivileged. His areas of interest include swimming, walking, and cycling, reading books
- He gained vast experience as a team member and team leader which is helpful in the management of standalone Pediatric hospital as an entrepreneur.
- More importantly, the satisfaction of his patients remains number one to prove it from the feedback received over years from innocent kids and their family members.
- When he is not on duty, he loves to ride the bicycle, playing tennis and reading business magazine.
